I thought you might like to see this video that I took just before Christmas.
We almost didn’t go out for a walk that day as it was so grey and gloomy, but it turned out to be so beautiful up on the hills. The mist fell in the most unusual way, hiding in the valleys and climbing up towards us. We saw several people along the way that had stopped to stare, it felt like some kind of fairytale.
Just then we heard the thundering of hooves, and in what seemed like a bit of a dream, the horses ran by, one by one, into and out of the mist.
We had to stand and stop for a short while, feeling like we’d been somehow imagined it.
Things have been so surreal all around us this past year, this was surreal in far better ways!
Absolutely! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
It’s intriguing to try to imagine what was encouraging them to gallop into the mist like that and the wish to go along is strong.
Yes they were certain of where they wanted to be! It felt a bit eerily full of meaning, given the times we all find ourselves in, like somebody somewhere was saying “keep going!” 😊
Or it could just have been that they were hungry 🤣
Horses running in the fog – wow, what a moment! Thank you for sharing the video. I hope all’s well with you and things are looking up. What a year 2020 was! 🙂
Thanks Lynn! Yes I honestly can’t believe it’s been a year now since this all began..Seems to be some hope on the horizon, crossing fingers..! hope you are doing well too and enjoying the first hints of Spring!
There definitely are hints here, in spite of some surprise snow we had. A few very early flowers are budding or even blooming, and the deciduous trees have their soft, budding outlines now – don’t you love that? 😉
I just love this Cath. It is like a moment of Being in Presence. Beautiful. I keep replaying it. I would love to share it on FB but I am guessing that is not allowed. Hope you are well, or ok. Love Sarah xx
