Hi there – yes I do know what you mean – I am a bit obsessed with sky! Though in this case I did actually attempt many shots of this wall, I felt the same way, wanted it to seem more prominent, but no matter what I did I couldn’t find the angle here – I think maybe I needed a different lens – or stilts…! Thanks for the comments.
There’s something so dear about huddled wooly sheep bodies! I love that we see them here in their very own chilly landscape. And those rock fences fascinate.
Absolutely love the dry work stone wall!
They’re fabulous aren’t they..love them.
Those sheep look so cozy all huddled up. We just arrived at the seaside and it’s freezing! Lovely shots, very atmospheric
Oh have fun – are you down South? It’s freezing here! We all need a little sheep at home for warmth..:)
Yes we were, back now. Was freezing! Lovely though, as always.
I especially like the second shot, Cath–but personally, I’d like to see more of the wall and less of the sky.

Ha, yes, I agree about huddled wooly bodies! You just want to hug them.. but they just won’t let you…:)
Serene yet just a piece of the story-lovely.
So glad you thought that, I kind of felt that too..thankyou
Love these shots – they remind me of the Lake District. 🙂
Thanks! I’m ashamed to say that I haven’t been there yet, but longing to..
Wandering sheep and walls… so gentle.
Makes you want to keep walking and crest the hills to see what the next valley brings.
What a great thought – yes these hills do lend that quality, a good spirit to find..
Love the freshness of your compositions – it’s not often I find sheep compelling.
Haha! I’m glad I have enlightened you to the ways of the wool! 🙂
