I visited Coleridge’s cottage recently, and they have a stack of paper and quills on the desk for you to leave a message that gets pinned to the notice board. A nice idea to see, lots of peple write short poems and leave them there. (I love the window scene by the way.)
These lovely shots made me take a much needed deep breath!
Ah, that’s great, I’m glad! 🙂
wonderful “writing desk”
It’s gorgeous isn’t it?! I wanted to steal it 🙂
haha… me too if i had been there.
Beautiful compositions, and perfect light.
Lovely.
Thanks Karen..
Wonderful window image. Your lens’ focal length has a distinctive “sound” — you’re playing that music quite beautifully in many of your pics.
Thanks so much John – i have to say I do love that lens..there’s something about that restriction than makes me feel more free somehow.
gasp – loving the wall paper! and the English country garden is a perfect view through that old window!
Thanks LIsa – the paper is gorgeous isn’t it – I didn’t ask if it was original, I will do next time..I just longed to sit down and write a letter!
Lovely light, Cath. Eminently stealable desk – perhaps you should hire a van.
Haha..how tempting..! Though I think it needs grander surroundings than my tatty house, it would be sad there. 🙂
