I can’t decide if I like black and white or colour best, so here’s both!

I’m partial to the black and white, as is often the case … but that green is really quite special. Lovely series!
Thanks Sydney, yes I was drawn to both, but I too thought the green was a very unusual one – something very 40’s about it…whatever that means…?!
Neah, B&W! Do I have a problem? π . You got quite a show there π
Haha, well, it wouldn’t be for me to say Sorin….! π Though I do know what you mean, they both have different qualities..
bovine antics! love the narrative of these two bumping heads and then moving on…
Thanks LIsa – yes it was a bit like an odd sort of abstract performance..!
Delightful. And I can’t decide between the two either!
Well Mike, that’s not much help now is it? Hehe..no, me neither..maybe both is best!
I think that’s the perfect solution π
Ooh, I love the colour!
Thanks Richard – yes there’s something about that green…makes me think of looking outside from an old fashioned railway carriage somehow..
Both very effective.
This is quite wonderful, Cath.
Thanks Karen. I would like to do more animal studies, just sitting and watching is fascinating!
I love the perspective of these shots! π
Thanks – it was a great view! π
Beautiful. I vote for the colour as well, the rest of the colours are fairly neutral so that green really pops beautifully.
Thanks Deanne!
This is a magnificent set. I think the color is very important here. And though I usually prefer to see consistency in the use of color or black and white, I do think that the set holds together. Wonderful work.
Extraordinary to photograph these beasts so close up β a fleeting moment captured spontaneously. Really like that you have chosen to keep in the mundane domestic window to frame the action as it adds a really unexpected dimension to the story. I Iove the colour image as the warm grey of the window frame really picks up the slightly darker tone of the cows, and the overall scene is lifted by the texture/greens of the grass and pale blue tint of the sky. The colour really adds to the image. Nice sequence!
Hello Sandra! Great thoughts, thanks – I too have warmed to the colour I think – thanks for stopping by! π
