We took a cup of tea out into the garden, and realised we had some friends there!
Beautiful animals. A teeny bit scary when they are staring down at you from a wall..
What is it about them that we love so much? Stoic, strong and sensitive, they seem to know things..

Thankyou!
Hehe… Ah, the joy of country neighbours and their occasionally surprisingly close proximity! 🙂
Haha, yes! 🙂
It looks to me as though they are looking for photo-ops! And you obliged…
Great images, Cath. There is something about their lovely big eyes, isn’t there?
Haha – yes it really did seem that they loved the camera and were putting on a little performance for us! Thanks Karen..
I like the way have photographed these. The angle and the strong contrasty light makes them look quite menacing, but also beautiful and sculptural.
Thanks Emily – yes it was a lucky capture really, and great to be able to get so close to them, could really feel both their strength and beauty..
I just — l o v e — these cows, especially numbers 2 and 3!! Great studies.
Ah thanks Lisa, I think those are my favourites too, they seemed to be asking for me to take their photograph!
Two and three look like they’re performing for you. They’re lovely aren’t they, cows? Excellent shots!
Thanks Richard, it did seem like they were somehow!
What odd visitors for afternoon tea…and how nice. 🙂
hehe, yes! It was great! 🙂
It looks like it was. 🙂
They do know things… Excellent five o’clock tea photos, Cath! 🙂
