I’ve been re-visiting my Cornwall folder and found a few more of these small figures.
I can’t stop taking these kinds of images. I can’t say really why they fascinate me so much, and why I am moved to find them.
At first, it is instinctive. I wait until it feels right, until the shape is there, and they are there, part of that landscape, part of the world. I don’t know why one movement or light or shadow fall works to me, why another doesn’t, I just feel it.
I like that sometimes there is light on the horizon. And sometimes not. Waves. And sometimes not.
Nature changes so quickly, unexpected things happen. I love to be there with it. The million tiny details within a moment.

I love your small figure shots – this is particularly delicate and lovely. Thanks for the mention, Cath!
Thanks Richard, and no worries – just loving that book!
Yes, it’s great isn’t it? Very interesting writer.
A picture of so many questions yet so perfectly blended!
Thanks so much Patti..

Thankyou – I’m really happy you can feel it..
You’re welcome…and very much so.
This is easily one of my favorite shots.
